Bull will hire 1,000 people in 2012, half in France

PARIS (Reuters) - Bull announced Monday plans to hire 1,000 people in 2012, more than half in France, to strengthen its teams in software development, the "cloud computing" and security.

The IT group, the Strategic Investment Fund (FSI) took this summer more than 5% of the capital return of € 25 million to strengthen ownership and support the development, said in a statement that among the new hires planned abroad, the research interests include Poland and Brazil.

Bull has already made 1,000 hires this year. Counting starts, the positive balance amounted to about 500 people since the group's current total stands at 9,000 - including 5,000 in France - against about 8,500 people in late 2010.
